Crisis Media Management Workshop

This informative half-day workshop wil be held the morning of May 4, and will be conducted by Kim Barbero and Jocelyn Fraser of Carah Worldwide Consulting, one of the premier public relations consulting firms specializing in this field. While this workshop is designed primarily for IAATO Member-operators, it will be open to all members and annual meeting guests. There is no additional charge for this informative workshop. In the fast-paced world of social media and blogs where information and images can go virile before a ship returns to port, having the knowledge and toolkit provided by this workshop can be critical in disseminating the facts and protecting your reputation.

Round Table Discussion

The 2012 Round Table Discussion will be held Friday afternoon, May 4. As in past years, the intention of the Round Table is to have an in-depth conversation about the challenges, opportunities and concerns facing Governments and Antarctic Tour Operators – and how all involved can most effectively work together to ensure sensible Antarctic tourism management and regulatory strategies. The Round Table Discussion will be held under "Chatham House Rule" so all participants are invited to speak freely as individuals with an interest in the subject; all interventions are non-attributable and the meeting will be conducted in an informal manner.
