Climate Change

The Climate Change Committee (CCC) oversees IAATO's initiatives to survey its operators regarding climate change. This includes offering guidance on decarbonization and related goals. The committee aims to identify relevant climate change impacts, environmental changes, and regulations affecting IAATO. Additionally, it assists the secretariat in preparing the annual greenhouse gas emissions report, which is based on seasonal fuel consumption data from IAATO operators in Antarctica.
