IAATO team members Maureen Lynch, Amanda Lynnes, and Jill Niederberger are attending the 44th annual meeting of the Commission for the Conservation of Antarctic Marine Living Resources (CCAMLR) and the Scientific Committee (SC-CAMLR) in Hobart, Australia. IAATO is pleased to attend as an Observer, sharing information to support discussions around the responsible management of human activity in Antarctica.

Starting this season, all IAATO vessels in Antarctica’s Gullet channel will follow mandatory acoustic protocols. This initiative aims to protect some of Antarctica’s rarest inhabitants, the B1 killer whale population, and reinforces IAATO's broader commitment to science-based environmental stewardship.
