Hayley Collings

Hayley Collings leads IAATO's strategic communications, reputation management, stakeholder engagement and Antarctic Ambassador Program development. A former journalist and UK police communications leader, she has managed crisis response and public communications across major national issues, working closely with government bodies including 10 Downing Street, the Home Office, COBRA, and police forces across the UK.

Since joining IAATO in 2017, Hayley has strengthened the association’s strategic communications capability, ensuring transparent, ethical, and mission-aligned messaging that supports responsible Antarctic tourism. She provides secretariat support to IAATO's Antarctic Ambassadorship Committee and, in 2024, established the Polar Communicators Forum—a collaborative platform for IAATO member sales, marketing, and communications professionals to advance best practice across the industry. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and a committed advocate for integrity in public communication.
