Ten Simple Acts of Ambassadorship for Antarctic Ambassadorship Day
Today is Antarctic Ambassadorship Day, an international celebration dedicated to inspiring others to begin their own ambassadorship journey.
As an Antarctic Ambassador, you have the power to help protect Antarctica from afar in your daily life. Embrace this opportunity to feel empowered and engage in acts of ambassadorship in your own unique way.
Ambassadorship doesn’t have to be complicated. In fact, even small acts of ambassadorship can make a world of difference. After all, each of us has the power to enact change and inspire others to join the movement.
Here are ten simple acts of Ambassadorship that you can do today:
- Write a social post about Antarctica and why it’s important to protect the continent
- Talk about climate change with your friends or coworkers
- Commit to being meat-free for a month
- Ditch single-use plastics
- Participate in citizen science
- Switch to green cleaning products
- Cut your shower short by a few minutes
- Use reusable grocery bags
- Pick-up litter in your neighbourhood or at your local beach or park
Invite your friends and family to apply to become an Antarctic Ambassador
